New York designer Binetti opened the show with ultra feminine pieces. According to one bystander, “his models catwalked the runway like modern-day nymphs.”

“Keanan Duffty’s brash and bold neo-punk looks wowed guests, as did the rough and raw custom leather pieces of Duffty’s fellow New York designer Lost Art. And San Francisco native Lemon Twist exhibited a number of young and fresh “girlie” outfits in muted colors,” comments publicist Cece Feinberg.

Two of Miami’s brightest stars in fashion talent, Julian Chang Couture and Krelwear, showcased strong collections. Chang’s superbly tailored and chic designs flowed gracefully, exemplifying both sophistication and grace.

In distinction, designer Karelle Levy’s label, Krelwear, boasted brightly-colored knit patterns that embraced flaws as much as Levy’s form-fitting clothes embraced the models’ curves.

Miami’s accessory designers Citrine by the Stones and Raiza boasted lavish displays under equally lavish cabanas. Each showcased a number of magnificent pieces that glittered in a kaleidoscope of light and color on the silky skin of their models and faithful clientelerm-fitting clothes embraced the models’ curves.

GenArt has hosted the runway launches of many top rising stars of the fashion world over the past ten years. Alumni of the program include: Zac Posen, Rebecca Taylor, Chaiken, Shoshanna, Michelle Mason, and Louis Verdad.”
