On Tuesday October 3rd, Camille Thiry Russler’s Ever After Miami, (one of the most exclusive bridal salons in the country), hosted their first annual charity benefit for The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation’s Passionately Pink for the Cure.
The affair was held at Villa Woodbine, a historic mansion situated in the heart of Coconut Grove and presented a fashion show launching the complete Ever After Purple evening collection and Ever After Blue which represents gowns from the industries most elite bridal designers including Vera Wang, Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, Ulla Maija, Valentino and Angel Sanchez all designed in a delicate shade of blush in honor of the evening’s pink theme.
The evening drew a crowd of over 300 guests and included a silent auction raised over $4,000 for The Komen Foundation and included items from Oscar de la Renta, Romero Britto (whose bids were so outstanding they rushed in additional artwork to satisfy the demand), Angel Sanchez and Samuel Getz Private Jewelers & Designers (who also accessorized all of the models on the runway with their sparkling gems & baubles).
At the event, all of the Ever After guests wore something pink, from a ribbon to a tie, scarf or other accessory to express their commitment to the cure. The tone of the evening was set by Kimona, an enchanting jazz songstress from South Beach’s National Hotel, paired with a quartet, who summonsed the sirens of the silver screen and the elegance of that era, a mood that has become synonymous with the Ever After experience.
